The word that pops into my mind isn't a word that would strike most as daring. It isn't a word over looked. It isn't a word that lacks multiple meanings. It's a word of action. It's a word of description. It is the word "really" and I love it.
Really dates back to the before Christ himself walked these lands. People would say, "You heard Christ is coming? Really." And the reply was always, "Ya, really."
When Jesus came to us and taught us a better way, we would say, "Really?" He would softly say, I'm sure, "Yes, really."
Here I am today. Typing before you saying that very word of "really" with a sigh. Did you REALLY think that, Stephanie? As I dropped my head to the side so my hair would lay flat, I would reply, "Yes, really."
What is it about being in the eye of the storm that stops us from being sensible? Is it that cock and ball sandwich taunting us between vomiting that turns us on? Is it that next unemployment that will sustain another trip to Super WalMart? Is it when you REFUSE to listen to that voice saying, "RUN, DING DONG, RUN!" The one word that says it all, is...drum roll please...
R to the E to the A to the double L and a Y.
(this may very well be my most profound blog yet...I know. Really.)
