This is based on Erin's latest blog and here's what I propose:
I know we all have family obligations, church, work and I guess we should sleep. I also think we need to make a REAL effort to get together before a birthday, holiday or funeral.
It would be really special if we could start and keep a friend/family tradition from this point forward. Every month, we know that we're getting together. Sometimes we can't and it's understandable. But for the most part, are we really that busy that we can't fit in TWO hours to hang out?
A good friend of mine has family dinner EVERY Thursday at Grandma's. Without fail, they do their best to make this time and I love that! I realize we don't live close to everyone as we'd like, but give me a break. We can plan everything else in our lives, why can't we plan this?

- HA! Too much clearly was funny, but about me is to know that I have lots of me's. I'm actually learning about the real me I want to be. I have an idea, so that's a great start, now I have to make some adjustments. I'm ok with that.

I'm down. Oh wait, slight distance factor. That's ok, I'm working hard to get my ass back to the west coast asap.
And you're right. We work so hard to make the uneccessary things in life happen, what about the things, and by things I mean people, that make us actually happy to be alive?
